The GCR Diesel Galas are always worth attending. Lots of trains to see and a wide variety of motive power. This year there was only one guest - but it was a Deltic so they don't come any better than that! As usual on the first day something went wrong around lunch-time and the afternoon timetable bore little resemblance to reality. It didn't matter too much because I had seen and photographed everything by that time.
