The weather forecast for Saturday 27th November 2021 was disappointing to put it mildly. In truth it was awful; cold, high winds and sleet or snow showers were not encouraging predictions for successful photography. But DUCHESS OF SUTHERLAND on the Midland Mainline and routed through Leicester rather than Melton Mowbray gave the prospect of three locations before steam came off the train at Barrow Hill.
