On Saturday 28th October 2017 46100 ROYAL SCOT replaced 60103 FLYING SCOTSMAN on "The Cotswold Venturer" excursion from London Paddington to Worcester and return. On the outward journey I photographed the train approaching and the leaving Moreton-in-Marsh. Departure from Worcester was quite late but I risked heading south and saw the train leaving Cheltenham and again, after sunset, at Standish Junction. The engine looked fully up to the task throughout.
