The next train to pass on the down main line was 1S13, the 10:00 from London Kings Cross to Edinburgh (Waverley), formed with AZUMA unit 800 109. The 10 o’clock down was always known as ‘The Flying Scotsman’ but I could not see any evidence of that name as it flew past on Saturday 12th February 2022.
