Of all the diesel locomotives based on the GCR at Loughborough only this Birmingham RC&W locomotive is owned by The National Railway Museum. Sadly it is in the worst cosmetic condition of all the serviceable locomotives. D6535 was seen hauling the 14:45 from Leicester North to Loughborough on Saturday 23rd October 2021. I did not notice at the time I took the photograph but it was working alone without D123 attached at the back. I have no explanation as to why D123 had been detached but it returned light engine later in the afternoon.
