On Sunday 29th August 2021 the first steam hauled Shakespeare Express since the end of the 2019 season was able to return following the easing of Covid restrictions and completion of repairs to CLUN CASTLE's superheater header. The two chimney first passenger runs were photographed when running at high speed. The engine seemed to perform faultlessly on both trains.
