The second day of the 2018 GCR Autumn Steam Gala took place on Friday 5th October. Five locomotives provided a reliable and busy timetable without the problems that always arise due to taking water, etc. when a more ambitious schedule is attempted. The only known problem was difficulty in turning 78018 at Quorn on the disaster of a turntable that the railway has been left with.
