During the intervening time between "The Shakespeare Express" trips between Stratford and Birmingham I visited the GWSR hoping to see both the rostered locomotives; one steam and one diesel. However, due to a combination of traffic problems and very late running with the diesel I saw only the steam locomotive. Fortunately it was facing forward and I was able to secure two photographs. I waited as long as I could but, fortunately I was back in time to see 7029 CLUN CASTLE return with "The Shakespeare Express".
