On Tuesday 15th January 2019 Stanier Jubilee Class 6P 4-6-0 45596 BAHAMAS made an afternoon engine and support coach test run from Tyseley to Stratford-upon-Avon. All seemed to be well on the outward run but I was sorry to learn that it failed the fitness to run examination for the loaded run on Thursday 17th. No doubt the problem will be rectified soon.

Good to see this engine back on the mainline again. This time, red nameplate, seems to be a slightly lighter version of Brunswick and the wheels not quite as burnished ??
