As 7903 FOREMARKE HALL pulled away into the distance it was time for me to leave the GWSR and continue photography of steam on the main-line. I intended to go to Eckington but, unfortunately and with no prior warning, I found the B4080 road was closed and the diversion took me to Tewkesbury and the M5 which was blocked with holiday traffic. I missed CLAN LINE by about five minutes at Abbots Wood Junction but there was no point in trying another location with motorway traffic as it was.
