Sunday 5th March 2017 was the first day I visited the GCR since the start of the full weekend timetable for the year. The weather began with torrential rain, sleet, hail and a little snow. There was relatively little improvement as the day progressed and I terminated my visit early after the 14:30 left Loughborough in heavy rain.
