The first public trains on the Mountsorrel Railway ran over the weekend of 24th & 25th October 2015. Saturday 24th October was very wet but Sunday 25th October was sufficiently good to attempt a few shots of the new enterprise. The trains were full and the event was very popular and successful. Running was confined to the branch only and there was no opportunity to see the service on the mainline between Swithland and Rothley.
