The weather forecasts for Cumbria and Leicestershire on Saturday 10th March 2018 were both poor. Why travel about 450 miles to get wet? I went to Loughborough to the GCR and had a good day with very little rain at all. 9F, Modified Hall, Metro-Cammell DMU and Crompton Class 33 all running well and for the first time this year the 15:30 ex-Loughborough was steam worked! I'll go again.
