Weather conditions on Saturday 10th August 2019 were for extreme winds and heavy rain in north-west England. To be honest I should not have gone had it not been for a neighbour travelling on the CME and a family event on Sunday ruling out the GCR. The forecast proved to be correct but I was able to photograph the train seven times which must be some kind of record. Pictures in rain are never high quality records - but I enjoyed the day, excluding getting the car stuck in a flood at Scotby!
