On Sunday 17th March 2019 'The Railway Touring Company' ran a steam hauled excirsion in memory of the late Nigel Dobbing, the company founder. I understand that the passengers were invited to participate and the event was essentially private. The operation was faultless and a fitting tribute to Nigel in every way.
