Sunday 12th August 2018 was a poor day for train photography with frequent rain showers, fortunately only heavy at times. It was however the final day of the GCR's "Fifty years since the end of BR Steam" event which was spread over two weekends. For me, it was a must do day out and an opportunity to visit some locations that I rarely cover these days. Damp clothing but certainly not damp spirits!
