The lines on the left on which the train was travelling come from Pontefract and those on the right come from Castleford. Exhaust steam would have blocked out the view of the train if I had stood on the sunny side so I believe I made the correct decision with this view of 46100 ROYAL SCOT hauling "The White Rose" for Saphos Trains on Wednesday 15th December 2021.
