On Wednesday 15th December 2021 LMS Princess Coronation Class 7P 4-6-2 6233 DUCHESS OF SUTHERLAND hauled a "Christmas White Rose" excursion from Tyseley to York. The train was fully equipped with its own treated water supply in the GUV behind the tender and a Brush Type 4 (Class 47) diesel electric attached at the back. Even all this equipment did not prevent the train running nearly an hour late; most of which remains unexplained.
