Eventually, at about 12:05, the unmistakable form of a WCRC diesel electric hauling BR MkI coaches passed on the down slow. realtimetrains.co.uk had reported the train having left Humberstone Road three times with only this one correct at 81 min late! Presumably the false reports were shunting moves associated with taking 6233 off the train.
