Sunday 8th February 2026 was yet another dull, damp winter day with little to commend it for going out to take pictures on a preserved railway. True, there was little rain except for a brief heavy shower that threatened to cut the day short but cleared as quickly as it came. From the motive power point of view, we had 92134, still facing north, and 73156 replacing the expected 34072. One of the Standard Class 2s was shunting the yards at Loughborough and made one return trip along the line just when I was away having my lunch. More records for the website and it kept me out of too much trouble.
