With the main-line scene as it is in 2024 and various family commitments, the good old “Shakespeare Express” looks likely to be a regular feature for the rest of the summer. It provides a good number of possible locations with a pair of delightful locomotives (true they are very similar and difficult to distinguish). On Sunday 28th July 2024, I visited Shrewley for photographs from Hatton North Junction and the down line approach to Dorridge Station. I also took a walk around Stratford-upon-Avon Station to view some old and some new features.
