I was pleased to find that the locomotive working the ordinary passenger services on Saturday 12th March 2022 was the visiting Standard 2-6-4T. It will not be long before this locomotive leaves the railway and this visit offered chances to photograph the visitor in some interesting but slightly less common locations. The other normal services were in the hands of the green DMU which seemed to be a last minute replacement for the blue set and the Ivatt 2-6-0, which was booked to work the dining car service; tender first of course heading south.
