Friday 28th May was the first day in 2021 that the GCR operated their customary afternoon/evening diesel running event; on this occasion featuring BR Sulzer Type 4 1Co-Co1 D123. This popular locomotive has been a long term resident at the GC and looks very appropriate in a Midlands setting finished in BR Green livery with grey stripe and small yellow warning panels.
