The 2025 GCR Autumn Steam Gala took place over the period between Thursday 2nd October and Sunday 5th October. I restricted my visit to the first and final days only due to poor weather forecasts for the Saturday and Sunday. As is frequently the case the first day, Thursday, was very good with all three visiting engines operating a timetable that gave ample opportunity to take photographs with a realistic schedule that could be kept without undue pressure. The weather held up well and ensured an enjoyable, successful day.
