On Wednesday 5th March 2014 the Cathedrals Express from St. Neots to Carlisle and return was steam hauled both ways over the Settle-Carlisle by Jubilee Class 6P 4-6-0 45699 GALATEA.
The weather forecast was poor and the train approached Appleby under heavy storm clouds about 30 minutes late. Clearly the crew had no intention of stopping as the engine is still hard at work.
