On Saturday 10th March 2018 70013 OLIVER CROMWELL worked a "Cotswold Venturer" return excursion from London Paddington to Worcester Shrub Hill. The weather forecast was very poor with dark skies and continuous rain but it was to be one of the final group of maim-line tours that 70013 will work before retirement for major overhaul. I decided that Moreton-in-Marsh would be an appropriate location to see the train arrive and depart as it was scheduled to stop for 21 minutes. It turned out well as the rain eased just before the train arrived and it held off until after departure. Such conditions never produce quality images but I enjoyed my hour in Moreton.
