"The Hadrian" with 60103 FLYING SCOTSMAN on Saturday 29th July 2017 brought back memories of a day fifty years ago when I visited High Dyke with a group of friends from University to see old 4472 heading north with "The Hadrian Flyer" from Kings Cross to Newcastle. Pure nostalgia and the diesel at the back was doing significant work in the modern trip but nevertheless an enjoyable day out.
