On Sunday 24th April 2022 I returned to The Battlefield Line to take some more pictures of the visiting Caledonian Railway 0-4-4T No.419 in some different locations from those I visited a week before. I did not expect the locomotive to remain in Leicestershire for much longer after Easter but that turned out to be incorrect. Success was rather limited and I failed completely in my attempts to secure a photograph of the 12:30 departure from Shackerstone. I can attribute that entirely to incompetence. Lunch took rather longer than I expected but the afternoon session was reasonably successful.
