The 2019 Spring Diesel Gala on the GCR was a relatively low key event. Only one invited guest, D9537, and inaugural service trains for recently arrived Class 50, 50 017 ROYAL OAK. The usual excellent timetable ensured frequent trains wherever you chose to observe between Loughborough and Rothley.
