After the farce of the CME running 25 min early, lunch and photographing the magnificent "Midland Pullman" I went once more to Winder Bog, the Lane that leads to Bramble Cottage, just south of Southwaite on the WCML. The first train to pass on the up line was this Pendolino unit for Avanti West Coast with 390 020 leading the way.
