I decided to visit 'The Battlefield Line' on Sunday 29th December 2019. Two reasons precipitated this decision. I had wanted to see 6989 WIGHTWICK HALL since it's return to traffic and the GCR Timetable was most unattractive with the DMU set covering four trips and steam on three only. I had a most relaxed and enjoyable day in the Market Bosworth area.
