At first I thought I should go to Quorn to see the second train but decided not to do as the running times from Loughborough have been very unpredictable. Next choice was Rushey Lane but that is difficult, slow and not good for the car so I decided to give Rothley a visit. It was a good decision but as I drove past Swithland reservoir on The Ridings the train passed over the bridge running significantly early! We ran into Rothley Station at the same time but the train came to a stand with the loco, 73156 of course, alongside the carriage works.
