Sunday 27th February 2022 was quite unusual in that it was effectively a blue-sky day throughout with hardly a cloud to be seen. It coincided with a very favourable choice of steam motive power with BR Standard locomotives of Classes 4 and 5 in service along with the blue liveried diesel multiple unit. I had a very enjoyable day and it was almost impossible to get it wrong photographically in near perfect conditions. No excuses this time!
