After an exceedingly slow lunch in Ellis’s during which I saw the 12:00 DMU from Loughborough, the 12:45 DMU from Leicester North, the 12:50 passenger from Loughborough and the 13:00 up diner pass through Rothley Station I headed to Woodthorpe Lane bridge. Another camera failure meant I missed the 14:00 up DMU but I secured this shot of 2-6-4T 80080 as it approached Loughborough with the 13:35 down from Leicester North on Saturday 12th March 2022.
