Timetable irregularities mount up as Type 2 diesel electric locomotive No.5401 works the 15:45 from Loughborough to Leicester North on Sunday 9th February 2014. This working is scheduled for steam haulage and two were available. Could it be that both had failed? Or is the lower cost of diesel haulage a more likely explanation?
