Sunday 6th December 2015 was the first day I was able to photograph the Santa trains on the GCR. It began with drizzle and very poor light for the first departure from Loughborough but improved to give sun around the lunchtime period. The afternoon turned wet and very dull. I should have had another two shots had they not crossed right in front of me between the A6 and Woodthorpe bridges. Not much of a loss - the light was diabolical!
