My visit to the GCR on Sunday 11th June 2023 began somewhat later than usual as the weather forecast had suggested possible rain. I decided that was most unlikely and it was well worth the risk. It was just a good day out with the regular summer timetable; no special trains; no new or guest locomotives but great light and an opportunity to enjoy the fresh air.
