"The Shakespeare Express" season for 2017 ended on Sunday 3rd September. The weather was poor and with my car in dock (again) we saw only the afternoon return run passing Dorridge station. 5043 EARL OF MOUNT EDGCUMBE had a clear run as four unloaded class 66 diesels had cleared in the up direction only seconds before the steam approached.
