My first main line tour since late February would usually be cause for celebration. However I cannot help but feel that West Coast do not deserve to have their running rights restored. Nevertheless it was good to see GALATEA substitute for TANGMERE on a much altered Cathedrals Express. It was a shame that severe delays occurred while the train was being turned at Shrewsbury. At least an extra hour produced a significant improvement in the light.
