The Railway Touring Company’s Cotswold Venturer on Saturday 18th June 2022 provided an opportunity to photograph Stanier Jubilee 4-6-0 45596 BAHAMAS in some unusual locations. Another unusual feature of this excursion was the routing via Kemble in both directions. I find the Golden Valley very difficult for photography but there are plenty of other more accessible locations that present interesting feature of the route. As we have come to expect the locomotive was well turned out and seemed to perform well all day. I have no reason to believe that late running on the return was down to issues with the locomotive.
