With no trains operating at the Great Central I turned to The Battlefield Line for some post Christmas entertainment. It seemed highly likely that Leicestershire would enter Tier 4 for Covid 19 before the New Year so I visited as soon as possible when their services began on 30th December. Correct decision - David! Tier 4 started at 00:01 on New Year's Eve. Although the services were all worked with a two car DMU, it was a most enjoyable day with which to end my 2020 photographic year. Let's hope for a much better 2021.

Well full marks for keeping your railway photography blog going, to the last day of 2020, even if your covering a Diesel Multiple Unit onlyy day, would be both unusual and unlikely, in normal circumstances. I wish you good shooting in 2021, whenevr it starts, from a railway point of view. I have thoroughly enjoyed your work, throughout this most difficult year.
