Late arrival of the diesel hauled 14:45 from Leicester North caused the steam hauled 15:30 departure from Loughborough to run late. 6990 WITHERSLACK HALL made an erratic start from Loughborough as far as Woodthorpe Lane when one might have expected effort to regain some of the lost time.
