“The White Rose” excursion on Wednesday 6th April 2022 had stopped at Blackwell South Junction to allow 46100 ROYAL SCOT to be serviced and have its tender water tank replenished. It must have been a ‘splash and dash’ as significant time was regained and ROYAL SCOT was ‘going like the clappers’ as it passed through Alfreton station which is only a short distance away from Blackwell.
