Is it possible to have a good day's photography on the GCR when the timetable involves only seven departures from Loughborough with a DMU and two steam locomotives both of which are facing north? On Sunday 14th November 2021 I tried my best with just the situation outlined above. It didn't help that there were delays due to DALEX operation as well as Remembrance Day commemoration but in the end I have to say "Yes! I did enjoy myself".
