I waited expecting the next train to pass bridge GCR No.338, the old Woodthorpe Lane, to be the 14:00 DMU train from Loughborough to Leicester North. But eventually it was Stanier Class 8F 2-8-0 48305 heading in the down direction with the nominal 13:35 from Leicester North that trundled past the new housing development at Woodthorpe.
