I arrived at the A6 road bridge just south of Loughborough on Sunday 6th February 2022 in time to see the 11:20 train to Leicester North. The whistle and exhaust sounds gave the game away and it was no surprise to see Ivatt Class 2MT 2-6-0 46521 running tender first at the head of the train. That clarified my plans for the rest of the day. I needed to see the 12:05, 13:35 and 16:00 departures from Leicester North if possible.
