I had no reliable information about delays to "The Welsh Marches Express" on Saturday 13th November 2021. I made my way to a favourite location near Wormbridge and set up my camera in superb autumn light with www.realtimetrains.co.uk still showing the departure time as 15:00 from Hereford. By the time it left 57 min late I had to change my plans twice, reset everything and hope for the best in the descending gloom. 6233 DUCHESS OF SUTHERLAND wound its way through the reverse curves at Wormbridge now well over an hour late.
