The sun was shining again when BR Standard Class 2 2-6-0 78018 came round the curve through Buddon Wood with the 13:00 "South Yorkshireman" dining car express from Loughborough on Saturday 8th December 2018. It is very hard to envisage a more ridiculous sight than this, with a small engine running tender first on a double track railway displaying a prototypically correct train headboard!
