It had just started to rain when CR 0-4-4T No.419 approached the road bridge at Far Coton with the 13:05 train from Shenton to Shackerstone on Sunday 3rd July 2022. This photograph illustrated how J.F. McIntosh solved a problem with the suburban tank engines; he fitted much wider side tanks but left the cab at the original width.
