It was becoming quite dull and overcast when the DMU departed Leicester North with the 12:45 train to Loughborough on Sunday 28th November 2021. It is surprising how the full yellow end on the leading vehicle, DMBS M50203, gives the set a much more modern look than the warning panel on the trailing car, DMCL E50266. With the weather deteriorating I had doubts about conditions in the afternoon as I headed for my lunch. Snow was forecast!
